Album Info:National Railway Equipment #2067 (SDL50 clone?) NRE locomotive being loaded into the Bahri Jeddah (Saudi Arabian registry) at the Port of Houston, Texas, USA on or about 10 April 2014 Next Port of Call for the Bahri Jeddah is Baltimore, Maryland. According to NREX, this locomotive number fits into their used SD20 inventory, and the only NREX locomotives currently exported are 3GS24C-DE-AU (Class 1200) and the NRE E-3000E3B and those are being shipped to Australia, but these do not match the locomotive profile. However, another photographer captured a similarly numbered locomotive with identical profile in Kansas and attributed it to being an NRE SD50 clone for export to Saudi Arabia. Any and all information is invited. image by Jeff Lobaugh - used with permission via Deborah M. Pickering © 2014 - Philip M. Goldstein
