Album Info:Pan Am's thrice-weekly North Adams-North Bennington turn rolls west down the Hoosick River Valley. I chased it from North Adams, MA through Pownal, VT, and then on to Petersburg Junction, NY. Pan Am's train symbol is AD-1. It interchanges freight with Vermont Rail.

Description:  The "junction" in the place name refers to a long-ago connection with the Rutland Railroad's corkscrew division at this place. The Rutland rails were pulled in 1952.
