Description:  While Josh Bernhard and I were trekking about Provo, we discovered a short local train coming off the Sharp Subdivision. On point was one of my favorite SD40N units, 1616 which I first saw in 2013 along with 1684. Although the photo isnt to my liking, I am glad to see the engine again!

Description:  A diminutive switch engine working at McWane Ductile. Funny, this spur is on Train Simulators Soldier Summit DLC, so seeing it actually being switched in real life was rather entertaining. Plus this little switcher is so cute! :)

Description:  The special at Warner Siding, the end of the trip. Soon crews will switch locomotives and return the train to Salt Lake City. Once upon a time this siding was bordered by Warner Station, a LA&SL depot built following Union Pacific standards. Warner Station is long gone, although similar buildings survive in Spanish Fork, Logan, and Tintic Utah (the Tintic Station was chopped into two separate segments though)

Description:  Former DRGW branch now converted to light rail service. In the distance blue Savage engines and orange Utah Railway engines serve as a reminder of the freight history of this line.
