Mr. Grif Teller, 1989 |
Description: |
Here is an original 35mm color slide by Ken Murray that was taken in Little Falls, New Jersey, during September of 1989. Shown here working on one of his paintings is Mr. Griffith Harold "Grif" Teller (9 December 1899 – 8 April 1993). Among many notable accomplishments during his 94 years, Mr. Teller composed and painted the Pennsylvania Railroad's annual advertising calendars from 1928 through 1942 and from 1947 through 1958.
