Album Info:Well, I had planned to go see the Kansas City Mavericks play the Utah Grizzlies (hockey, for those of you who don't know), so I figured I'd sightsee in some town in Missouri, drive part of the way back to Topeka and stop to see the game, then drive the rest of the way afterwards. Turns out the game was sold out...so I didn't get to see it. But the trip was hardly for nothing! Sedalia was once a major part of the Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Railroad, and their depot (which had offices for the railroad) is still standing. So is the Missouri Pacific's station, which is still used by Amtrak! Oh, and make sure you get to the fairgrounds, or you'll miss 2 steam engines AND Missouri's boxcar from the Merci Train, a set of 49 freight cars sent by the French to the US after World War II in thanks for our help against the Axis. A lot of great things to see in Sedalia, and the people there were really nice. If you ever get a chance to visit, be sure to stop by!

Title:  Sedalia Katy Depot
