Album Info:On March 17, 1983 I rode the RGZ Train #17 all the way from Denver to Salt Lake City. On March 18 I returned on Train #18. On April 24, the RGZ made its last run as Amtrak agreed to begin running its San Francisco Zephyr over the RGZ's former route. However, the Amtrak reroute was delayed due to the Thistle landslide that truncated the RGZ's run during it's last days. I consider it a privilege to have been able to enjoy the RGZ twice before it passed into history.
