Description:  AMTK 174 and another unidentified locomotive head westbound through Lafayette with today's Sunset Limited. The train had just completed their station stop in Lafayette about a mile before this curve. The rails in the foreground were originally the SP branch to Alexandria.

The active rails are the L&D Breaux Bridge Branch, formerly the SP Baton Rouge Branch. The box car on the right in the background is spotted at a brick yard, the only remaining business on the Alexandria line in Lafayette.
