Florida East Coast 428 |
Description: |
A look inside Florida East Coast Engine repair shop. inspection pits in the foregroundFEC 428 is at this end. An EMD with all thf hood removed was at the other end of the building. I didnt take my camera with me when I went to see the Superintendant of Engines to ask permission to take photos. He denied me access to anywheqe other than the parking lot. I respected his restrictions. I wish you all could have seem what was going on in there. IT WAS AMAZING! |

Florida East Coast Engine Shop |
Description: |
This is the main building at the Engine Shop. I think the Adjacdnt Building (behind me) is the car repair shop but I was denied anything but an outside view of it. Make no mistake, everyone here was very friendly including the superintendant. I was w^rned about one particulat railroad police officer who would gladly have given me a ticket. There wer company vehicles parked around the property, so make sure you ask permission before you shoot. A smile and a "Thank You" go a long way these days |
