Description:  Lorenz. Here is a photo via Bob Lorenz that was taken at the Passenger Station in Duncannon, Pennsylvania, c. 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6732, an M-1B built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during May of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in September of 1946, and retired in September of 1959 after 29 years of service. It's passing through the Station with a fully-loaded mineral train, fresh from the coal mines of Western Pennsylvania. (Gift from Brad Mann.)

Description:  WB. Here is an image of a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1956. Partially visible here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4402 and #6732. Both were built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. #4402 is an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" constructed as an I-1S during March of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in May of 1941, and retired in September of 1959. #6732 is an M-1B built as an M-1A during May of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in September of 1946, and retired in September of 1959. They're being stored in serviceable condition near the East Altoona Coaling Tipple. William E. Burket Collection.
