Amtrak SW1 733 |
Description: |
Amtrak SW1 733 at Wilmington, Delaware on an unknown day in May 1979, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 733 was built by EMC in May 1939 as first NYC SW1 616 (c/n 877) on Order E239, was renumbered to NYC 666, then NYC 8464, becoming PC 8464, then second Amtrak 246, then Amtrak 733. It appears that it was retired around February 1980, sold to Naporano Iron and Metal and scrapped. |
