Description:  CN local approaches N. Oneida St. as it heads southwest via former C&NW rails near downtown Appleton, WI on 22 Jul. '14. Train iad just finished working Little Chute and Kaukauna was heading back to Neenah, it will make a brief stop at Appleton Junction enroute. There used to be a lot of rail activity along this stretch, the buildings on both sides of the track used to veceive rail service for example, but that was probably more than 25 years ago.

In the foreground you can see the remnants of a spur that used to serve the SCA Tissue mill, behind me. The railroad crossing sign still says "2 Tracks," unfortunately this second track has been missing for quite a few years.
