C&O cabooses, Clifton Forge
Title:  C&O cabooses, Clifton Forge
Description:  A pair of C&O cabooses behind the shop at Clifton Forge VA. Personally bay window cabeese have never been my favorites; that cupola guy has a lot of character though.

Chessie Caboose
Title:  Chessie Caboose
Description:  When was the last time you saw a caboose fly? This Chessie Cat took a flying leap from the CSX main line to a display track next to the restored 1881 depot in the town of Lee Hall, Virginia. The C27A bay window caboose was built by Fruit Growers Express in June of 1980 and was eventually renumbered to CSXT 900066 in 2002. CSX retired this caboose in April 2018 and was in the process of soliciting bids to scrap it when I stepped up and coordinated the donation to the Lee Hall Trains Station Foundation.

Local passing the Chessie Caboose
Title:  Local passing the Chessie Caboose
Description:  An unusual Saturday working of Busch Local L215 is seen running lite engine eastbound toward Newport News Yard, passing the recently restored Chessie System caboose at Lee Hall, Virginia. The Foundation restored the caboose to its original appearance and placed it on display next to the 1881 C&O Depot.
