| This is one of my first ever "railfan pictures." It is Reading T1 #2124 at the old Steamtown in Vermont, and was one of my father's favorite engines. This was the only picture I took that day, even though I remember being amazed by all the engines. There was something sad about the old Steamtown, all the empty dirt around the engines and the lack of cover... and yet, what I wouldn't give to visit it again. Right after this, we went in to watch the film on F. Nelson Blount. |
