| Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad VO-1000 9357 eastbound at Cermak & Halsted in Chicago, Illinois on March 28, 1965, Ektachrome by Chuck Zeiler. The CB&Q served an industrial area a few blocks south of their main line through Chicago known as the Lumber District. It ran along the south side of Cermak Road, to the west to about Western Avenue, and to the east to Lumber Street. It also served the several canals off the Chicago River. |
