That's not rare. It runs a train twice daily from San Luis Obispo to San Diego and back I think.

They still use the controls in the cab. It's essentially a baggage-cab car.

Nice, a Cabbage car. While they do run twice a day it's rare to see oe in the station at night.

GREAT SHOT OF AN IDLE AMTK NPCU (CABBAGE), WITH ITS AMTK PASSENGER TRAIN, SHELLEY!!!!!! I SEE SOME OF THESE IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, MOSTLY IN SEATTLE OR PORTLAND, ON THE AMTRAK ROUTES.
