Tom Beckett General Cool shot. Looks like might be 2NY 100, which was the hottest train on the railroad, and typically got this type of power. The location is QD, where there was a crossover, 2 to 1, and a connection into the Erie yard, out of the photo to the right, and the D&H. Both are still in use, though the track used by now NS trains on the D&H has been moved. The power doesn't look anything like this, except maybe if one of the heritage units gets there. The Erie station, at left in partial view, is gone, torn down by Conrail shortly after their start up in 1976. The Kingsley building, at right, still stands watch over the action. 2/18/2020 5:37:30 AM
