Virgil Fitzpatrick General These are late model AC44's not AC6000's 9/4/2009 10:29:59 PM
Kyle Norek General Thanks, I wasn't sure about the model. I haven't been able to find much on the internet about these units. 9/4/2009 10:38:36 PM
Tim Leininger General Great picks! I wonder who's engines were used? Althou I suspect CSX CP or FXE as they have radial trucks! 9/4/2009 11:04:43 PM
Kyle Norek General These units belong to the Allegheny Valley Railroad from what I have seen on the internet, but I haven't been able find out their previous owners. The reflective striping on the unit looks like what CP has on their AC's so perhaps they are ex-CP. Also, I haven't been able to find any pictures of hoppers similar to these so I'm wondering if they were painted for the movie. 9/5/2009 12:08:06 AM
Rich Borkowski General These are NOT Allegheny Valley Railroad engines. The letters on the side are A"W"R, not A"V"R. It is a ficticious paint scheme for a movie. 9/5/2009 10:07:31 AM
Kyle Norek General Yeah, you're right, I had seen them listed as AVR in a railpictures photo, but that has since been corrected. 9/5/2009 11:04:40 AM
jon kuby General this is a cp ac4400cw, it was borrowed for the movie, 777 is actually cp 9777 and 767 is cp 9758 9/23/2009 11:27:27 PM
