Just because someone sprayed GN on the side dose not make it an ex-Great Northern locomotive. That might be thr scrappers abbreviated name. Santa Fe & Southern Pacific where the only west coast class 1 railroads the owned them. This and all other BNSF SD39's would be better off posted under the BNSF and Santa Fe photo files.
