After a track washout in Bethel, CT trapped five diesel trainsets for an undetermined period of time a plan was devised to make two moves over the seldomly used Beacon Line from Danbury to Brewster. Pictured is the second and last move with three different trainsets coupled together; a seven car maxi-bomb with P32AC-DM 222, a three car shuttle train with BL20GH 126, and another three car shuttle train with BL20GH bringing up the markers shown just past Pumphouse Road in Brewster, NY minutes from reaching the Harlem line via CP155. The move then headed south from there into Grand Central Terminal where all three trains were looped and sent back into pool service. |
