CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS? MY GRANDMOTHER GAVE THIS PHOTO TO ME IN THE 1980S AND TOLD ME IT WAS TAKEN IN NEW CASTLE IN THE 1940S. I COULDNT FIND A LOCATION IN NEW CASTLE THAT MIGHT HAVE MATCHED THIS EXCEPT, I NEVER SAW DOWNTOWN WHEN THE INTERURBAN HAD THERE SHOPS THERE. UNLIKELY TO BE VERY FAR AWAY FROM NEW CASTLE

CIOR - General My friend says that is the old Firestone plant at 25th street. The train is a NKP train on the line to Connersville. Train would be heading toward downtown New Castle 5/4/2011 12:00:31 AM
