ATSF 7510
NORMAN OK April 10 1980 -- Santa Fe U23C 7510 and FP45 5944 are on the point of train 563 as it approaches the East Linfsey crossing. The eastbound (compass north) mixed freight is accelerating to the 45 mph timetable speed limit after clearing a slow order at Constitution Street in the far distance- GE built the 7510 in June 1969 and Santa Fe retired it and returned it to the lessor in December 1984. It was sold to Precision National Corp. in early 1985 and eventually scrapped. The 5944 was wrecked at TolandTX in September 1981 and was scrapped.
