| This section of Albany and Northern trackage has recently been relaid. The newly relaid trackage extends to about the end of the peanut mill seen on the right and stub goes a few feet further east while a spur branches off to the left. The A&N ended up in the Southern Railway camp. Todays NS still operates the busy GS&F district through Cordele and CSX operates the even busier Fitzgerald sub through Cordele. |
