UP 9231,EARLY SPRING,1994.  Contributor's Pick!       
Union Pacific C40-8 No.9231 rolls west on a coal train just off the Utah Railway/Rio Grande coal tracks at Provo. Heading west across the Union Pacific Provo Subdivision to Lynndyl (Now Sharp Subdivision). The line between Provo and Lynndyl was renamed from Provo Subdivision to the Sharp Subdivision after the 1996 merger with Southern Pacific. The Rio Grande Mainline from Salt Lake City to Helper was Southern Pacific's Provo Subdivision.
