| This depot sat in Pinehurst and was once home to the Aberdeen and Asheboro, then Norfolk Southern passenger/freight services. To the far right, you can see a trolley car. This trolley used to operate from here, down throughout the streets of Pinehurst taking people from here to there. There are still one or two streets in Pinehurst where the roadbed and bedcross ties can be seen and felt when driving down that street. |
