Tom Beckett General The unusual numbers are due to these units being former LMS lease fleet units. Conrail's Quality C40-8's were in the 6100 and 6200's. LMS was a venture where CR and CN jointly owned the power, with each road getting the units at different times of year. CR bought out CN's share, taking full ownership. Interesting album.
