Digging in  Contributor's Pick!
Trainn 223 heads north just after passing through Bevier St, and is into the climb. Its not as bad as it looks; the track in the foreground is the NYSW connection to its line to Chenango Forks, a new connection when the railroad overpasses at Bevier St were raised in the early 90s. The ex DLW bridge was removed, and the NYSW was rerouted onto the D&H through Bevier St to a new switch just north of the bridge. 553 is still in for a pretty good climb, even with only 38 cars.
