Another fine example of the 1940 Alco built Challenger-type locomotive. The massive loco was a powerhouse with 95,800 lb of tractive effort. Unfortunately the loco only got to serve for 12 years before being sold for scrap in October of 1952. Specifics - four 20.5x32" cylinders, 69" drivers, an impressive boiler pressure of 285 psi, and a tractive effort of 94,000 lb.
