AMTK 9995         
Amtrak 9995 at Michigan City, Indiana on July 12, 1982, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. According to the book, Amtrak By The Numbers, Number 9992 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1940 as AT&SF baggage-dormitory 3482. The high-level adapter was added in 1956. It was retired by Amtrak in July 1981.

Bob McCown General This car was purchased and renumbered 782 by R.J. McCown, intended to be a steam excursion dorm/tool car. It was kept at Bellevue, OH *MRNKP) where the rooftop fairing was removed, then Union Bridge,MD (MMID), and is now (12/2018) owned by and located (non-operational) at the Hagerstown (MD) Roundhouse Museum.. 12/25/2018 7:01:39 PM
