| CN local crosses Appleton St. while working in the former SOO yard at Menasha, WI on 16 Aug. '15. If you ask me, we do not see enough crossing signs that say “5 Tracks,” or more, around here anymore. I imagine the railroad wishes that Appleton St. did not bisect this small yard. Up until about 30 years ago this street also bisected the similar-sized Milwaukee Road (MILW) yard that used to stand behind me. |
