| Not to be confused with the Blue Ridge Scenic Rwy, this locomotive was built for the Blue Ridge Rwy which was chartered in 1852 and eventually becoming part of the Southern Rwy system. This RR Archives website doesn't recognize "BLR" as the reporting marks for the Blue Ridge Rwy. If anyone has information about this locomotive, it would be appreciated. The photo came from the F. Will Martin collection with the location listed and the year 1940 listed. |
