CMRR Extra #407 East and Tremper Mountain
As the wind blows the orange and red leaves of oak trees high on Tremper Mountain, Catskill Mountain Railroad ALCo #407 is making its way along Route 28 in Mt. Tremper, New York with one of the railroads Fall Foliage Extras. Due to the extra passengers (so many that people were beginning to park on the roads), the railroad had to use a new open air car that wasnt fully restored yet to accommodate the extra passengers, and I think some still couldnt get seats on the train. I was quite lucky to still have so many leaves on the trees here, as the wind had ripped every remaining leaf off the trees at my house, but it seemed their color was slightly behind here and had managed to hold on, even with the 60mph winds we had the night before.
