| Today is October 9th, 2016, and today my dad and I are up in West Chicago Illinois to watch trains along the UP Geneva Sub and CNs Elgin Joliet and Eastern route. We are up here because earlier today we went to church and the Great Midwest Train show in Wheaton, IL. It was my first time to the show and it was pretty nice! Very large and lots of nice stuff! After the show we grabbed lunch at Boston Market and went to the small park by the diamonds in West Chicago to start off our railfanning day. First, we catch an inbound Metra commuter train banging across the diamonds. |
