WCRL 6499 sits in the yard in West Chester. 6499 is a GP9 originally built for the Baltimore & Ohio railroad in October of 1956 with the same road number, and was later acquired by the Youngstown & Austintown Railroad with the same road number. Later, it was bought by the Ohio Central and renumbered to 99, which afterwards was bought by West Chester Railroad and renumbered back to 6499. |
