J Tower (formerly LEMO Tower) was built in the late 1800's. Originally located in Lemoyne, PA, it was moved to Strasburg Railroad in 1984. The 40 lever, Armstrong electro-mechanical switch machine located inside of J Tower is actually the switch machine from BRILL Tower located along the Northeast Corridor in Philadelphia. The switch machine was donated to Strasburg Railroad by Amtrak.
