Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly that was taken near Enola, Pennsylvania, c. 1967. The photographer is not identified. Photo Caption: "Pennsylvania No. 4829, Class GG-1, Enola, Pa." Shown here (L to R) are PRR engine #4829 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electrics rated at 4,620 horsepower each. #4829 was built in Juniata during June of 1935 and retired in April of 1968 after 33 years of service. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Electric Railroading ~ Penn Central and Pennsylvania Lines" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (868-18).
