| Looking east at the recently (surprisingly) repaired CN, former SOO, grade crossing for R. Sabee Co. spur on S. Linwood Ave. at Appleton, WI on 5 Nov. '18. Several days earlier, I noticed the grade crossing was closed and some work was being done on it. I was certain that they were going to remove the rails, because the facility has not received rail service for a long time. While this repair does not guarantee that renewed rail service is imminent, it does indicate that renewed rail service is possible. |
