| A CN local, with at least 25 cars, parallels Harrison St. as it shoves southwest from the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI on 18 Mar. '19. Train was preparing to service Menasha Packaging, 1645 Bergstrom Rd., and had one locomotive, CN 9424. A remnant of the former C&NW main line runs parallel on the other side of the train. Neenah Foundry Plant 2 & Plant 3 are partially visible in the background at left. Plant 2 opened in 1960 and Plant 3 was built in 1967. Plant 1 opened in 1918 and stood about a mile to the north, until it was closed in 1994 and eventually demolished. |
