Red Sisters and Green Sisters Color Contrast with the Mountains in the Background  Contributor's Pick!       
I first saw these ex Grand Trunk Rebuilds during winter of 2016 or early 2017. These engines are reported to have 567 Crank cases and 645 power assemblies; they sound more like a GP38 ranther than a GP9 NOTE; the cabs are a little longer than standard.

Tom Beckett General They would have to have had the blocks bored out to take the 645 power assemblies, and yes, they'll sound a lot like a GP 38. I can see why you'd want to upgrade a power plant that's 40 some years old, but you'll miss the mellow sound of those 567's!! 11/7/2019 2:25:01 AM
