This "wagon roof" caboose built by the B&O Shops in the 1945. The unique roof shape was a simple solution to depression and then war-time shortages by using "U" shaped roof brackets. First one was built at the Mt Clare shops in 1935, BO #2501. Does anyone know of its disposition of B&O C-2804? An unknown photographer took this photo. |
