Trailing a transfer
One of the things about the IC main line in Chicago was that it had a lot of capacity, and freights had their own tracks, keeping them away from the commuters. It was not uncommon to see freights in rush hour as a result. This caboose is bringing up the rear of a transfer from Markham, passing the 53rd St station during morning rush. How about that D&H Bridge Line box ahead of the caboose!!
