PRR 3437, H-9S, 1956         
Elmira. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Elmira, New York, on 30 June 1956. The photographer is not identified. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3437, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in Juniata as an H-8SB during January of 1913, rebuilt as an H-9S in August of 1923, and retired in December of 1957 after 44 years of faithful service.
