| Like all ten of its sister units, this loco was a boomer loco having appeared on several railroad rosters. PC #4605 was built in December of 1956 as Verginian #136. When the VGN and Norfolk & Western merged, it became NW 236. After NW dropped electricatinn, it moved over to the New Haven roster as NH 305. Along comes Penn Central which renumbered it 4605 as seen here. Later it would move onto the Conrail roster as their CR 4605. An unknown photographer captured this moment in the PC roster. |
