| Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1930, this 4-6-4 was one of a small fleet of CN Hudsons serving express passenger service. Specs- serial #68396, K-5-a class, tall 80" drivers, impressive 275 psi boiler pressure, 23x28" cylindeers, engine weight of 356,400 lb and tractive effort of 43,279 lb. The loco was eventually retired and donated to the Canadian Historical Rwy Association in September of 1960. Unknown photographer. |
