AMTK AEM7 #913
Built by EMD in December of 1980, this AEM7 model served Amtrak from 1980 until being replaced by the Siemens ACS-64 in June of 2016. Here it's stopped at the Elizabeth, NJ, depot in June of 1989. An unknown photographer caught the moment.

Tom Beckett General He's on one of the center tracks, so I doubt he's stopped there. Amtrak does not normally stop in Elizabeth; the next stop for them eastbound-toward NY-is Newark, and westbound is Metropark/Iselin. NJ Transit has many trains daily that call here. Of note, check the station sign on the canopy across the tracks, still the PC sign dating back to some time between the 1968 merger, and 1976 when the Corridor was transferred to Amtrak. 9/20/2021 3:54:04 AM
