Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Duncannon, Pennsylvania, c. 1967. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2222 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD. #2222 is an EF-22 constructed in April of 1963 and rated at 2.250 horsepower. In this context, they're rockin' 'n' rollin' to the Enola Yards with a manifest freight train. |
