"From Baltimore To Harrisburg," Page 40, 1944         
Here is page three of a four-page article by William Moedinger Jr., entitled "From Baltimore To Harrisburg On The PRR." It was published originally in the August 1944 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 40. Photo Caption: "The two locomotives, a Pacific and a Mikado, on the heavy 'St. Louisian' at the far left are on the last lap of the climb to the summit near New Freedom." Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5442, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during March of 1927 and retired in February of 1949 after 22 years of faithful service.
