Here is the third of three successive photos by John S. Fisher that were taken in Crestline, Ohio, in October of 1955. Caption On Reverse: "Pennsy Q-2 scrap at Crestline, Ohio, yards. Oct. 1955." Prominent here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #6195 and #6197. Both were built in Juniata; neither of them saw more than ten years of revenue service. #6195 was constructed in June of 1945 and retired in January of 1956, while #6197 was built in June of 1945 and retired in December of 1955. |
