WB. Here is an image of a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1956. Partially visible here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4464, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during October of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in January of 1943, and retired in February of 1960 after 37 years of faithful service. In this context, an unidentified Hostler is refilling its sand dome at the East Altoona Coaling Tipple. William E. Burket Collection.
