Here is page two of a three-page article entitled "'Yankee Jet' Arrives." It was published originally in the July-August 1961 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, page 2. Bottom Photo Caption: "Yankee Jet follows Boston-Maybrook-Phillipsburg route before reaching PRR. In photo, new E-44 hauls train to Harrisburg." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4408, an E-44 built by General Electric in March of 1961, rated at 4,400 horsepower, and retired in February of 1984 after 23 years of service.
