This 2-8-0 Consolidation started out in life as San Pedro, Los Angeles & Salt Lake #620 built by Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin predecessor) in December of 1904 (serial #24914). In 1916, it was renumbered Los Angeles & Salt Lake #3620. Finally in 1921 it was renumbered again to Union Pacific 6029 as it appears in this photo. The loco served for nearly 43 years before being scrapped in August of 1947. Specs - class C-2, 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x30" cylinders, engine weight of 220,500 lb, tractive effort of 43,305 lb.
